Alessandro Giovanni LAMONICA

Linea di ricerca

My research interest lies in foreign policy, cultural relations, and cultural diplomacy with emphasis on the role of culture in the external relations of the European Union. I also have an interest in deliberative democracy and participatory practices and methodologies. My current fellowship is carried out in the framework of EuComMeet. The project is financed by the European Commission within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme and it is leaded by the University of Siena. EUComMeet experiments ways of systematically embedding deliberative practices and institutions in the multilevel system of governance and representation of the European Union.
