- How do I matriculate/enrol?

The procedure for matriculation/enrolment can be entirely performed online; all information on the procedure, payments and deadlines is available in the Prospectus of Studies, which you may find at the following address:

- I would like to enrol in a second cycle degree course, how do I do it?

You can find all information on enroling in a second cycle degree course in the section Enrolments on the University’s website (follow the link below). It is important to know that, in order to enrol, you must first present an admission request.

- Where do I find the admission request and the other paperwork?

- How do I register for the years following the first year?

In order to register for the years following the first year, you must first follow the guided procedure entirely online; just go to Online Secretary and click on Secretary / Registration.

- On the Online Secretary page the stoplight is green, does that mean that I don’t have to renew my registration?

No, the green light on the Online Secretary page only refers to the fact that you have paid tuition; in order to register for subsequent years you still have to follow the guided procedure online.

- Is it required to enter an ISEE value?

Yes, for those who wish to take advantage of fiscal benefits, the ISEE value must be entered online at the moment of registration.

- Do I have to submit a paper copy of my ISEE form in the Secretary’s Office?

No, it is not required to present a paper copy in the Secretary’s office; you attest the value entered at the moment of registration.

- How do I know the deadlines for tuition payment?

We advise you to monitor deadlines and to make sure you have received the form by accessing Online Secretary / Payments.

- How do I fill out my study plan?

Simply go to the address https://www.dispoc.unisi.it/it/didattica/compilazione-dei-piani-di-studio and follow the instructions found in the attachment Filling Out Study Plans. Some study plans are automatic and do not have to be filled out.

- I have to graduate, where do I find the documentation?

- How can I see available Exam Sessions?

Go to the Online Secretary, click on Exams in the column on the left: there you will see all the Sessions available up to that date.

- I don’t see an Exam Session, why?

It’s possible that you didn’t include it in your Study Plan, or that the Session you are looking for has not been set yet. When the Exam Session dates are official, you can find them by looking on the Tools menu that you can find on the Online Secretary at the top right of your screen. In addition to the Exam Sessions, you can find all the information you may need on faculty and courses of study.

- Once I have found the Exam Session, how do I register?

From your personal page, click on Online Secretary / Exams / Sessions, select the exam you want to register for, and click Register for Exam. Confirmation of your registration will appear, with place, date and time of the exam, along with your registration number, which also tells you how many people have registered before you.

- How do I know if an Exam I already took has been registered?

If the procedure registering your exam and mark has been successfully completed, you can access the Online Secretary, and from the menu on the left go to Secretary / Career / Transcript. If the exam has been registered correctly, it will appear along with the other exams you have already taken.

- How can I find out about any variations or changes in University activity?

For any unexpected problem or change (absent faculty member, classroom change, logistical problems, etc.), you will find a communication in the Notices on the website of your course.

- I need a certificate, where do I find the Paperwork?

- I would like to begin a curricular internship, who do I need to go to?

You must go to the Placement Office (https://www.unisi.it/didattica/placement-office-career-service) in order to activate the insurance agreement. All information on how to activate an internship can be found at the following address:

- And for an extracurricular internship, who do I need to go to?

In order to activate an extracurricular internship, the procedure does not change: the Placement Office (https://www.unisi.it/didattica/placement-office-career-service) also considers the internship that is not in your Study Plan, as long as it is done during your course of study.

If you want your internship to be recognised in your Career, as excess CFU credits, you must present a suitable request both prior to and upon completion, with pertinent certification, to the Didactic Committee.

- I have finished my internship; what do I need to do to have it recognised?

You must present the form for Approval Request to the DISPOC Secretary, with the following attachments:

1) A letter, on official letterhead of the organisation where the internship took place, that reports the number of hours completed and the period of time worked.

2) A declaration by your Faculty Tutor confirming that the internship took place.

3) A brief written report on the duties you performed during the internship.

- I would like to do an Erasmus programme, how can I sign up?

The first thing you have to do is present a request at the International Relations Office. Once you have obtained approval, you must present the Learning Agreement to the Didactic Committee; you can find this form under “International Mobility” at the following address:

- And once I come back from Erasmus?

Once you are back in Italy, you must go to the Relations and Scholarship Office to finalise matters, and hand in your Transcript of Records and the final Learning Agreement to the Student Secretary’s Office of the DISPOC, for them to be approved by the Didactic Committee.
