In collaboration with the joint V.I.T.A. Lab "Virtual Interaction for Training and Analysis Lab", the VITA - ITS New Life Technologies Foundation and the Toscana Life Sciences Foundation, the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Siena organizes the LabVR Student Day with the intent to promote the knowledge of Virtual Reality among the students of the University of Siena.

LabVR UNISI is the virtual reality laboratory managed by teachers and staff of the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences (DISPOC), which financed its realization as a department of excellence designated by a competitive selection process conducted by the Ministry of Education, University and Research. The main purpose of the UNISI LabVR is to investigate human behavior through virtual reality technologies and is a project of the Santa Chiara Lab of the University of Siena.

From 13.00 to 17.00 it will be possible for the students of the University of Siena to experience the virtual simulations produced by the UNISI LabVR with Oculus Quest helmets located in 5 different VR Points on the ground floor of the Presidio S. Niccolò. The VR points will be dedicated respectively to Training, Vita Lab, Real Time 3d Scanning and Gaming (2). LabVR researchers will be present to illustrate the characteristics and potential of virtual reality for research, education and training activities.
