The Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences was founded with the dual purpose of increasing its research activity and promoting exchange with the small and medium enterprises of its territory.
The Department has therefore promoted technological transfer and the provision of advanced services, managing relations with external organisations (businesses, public authorities and other research organisms), aiming to identify areas and themes of research that may be of interest to and specifically used by businesses. In order to advance actions of technological transfer, the Department can count on a large number of tools, methods and research content aimed at both the businesses and the institutions of the territory. Furthermore, this is combined with constant interaction with other University research centres, both Italian and international, through which University/enterprise projects may be organised, at the local, national and international level.
